Try VR Snorkeling at IAAPA Expo 2019

November 2019 – Ballast Technologies, Inc. and Sub Sea Systems, Inc. are now taking reservations for attendees to experience in-water, virtual reality snorkeling at IAAPA Expo 2019.

Booth #8180 will have a shallow heated pool and two VR snorkeling systems to try– DIVR and DIVR+.

VR snorkeling combines the neutral buoyancy of water with the immersion of virtual reality. No other VR system feels this real! Turn any pool into an infinite adventure using the world’s first commercial waterproof VR headset (patent pending).

DIVR allows participants to float freely while experiencing neutral buoyancy, audio and 360° virtual content.

DIVR+ takes the experience to another level, with the addition of full-body sensory effects (such as jets of water) that are synced with the visual content. The result is a convincingly realistic adventure.
